Grab your maps! It's road trip season

This is an exciting time of year for us road trippers. The snow is starting to melt (in some parts of North America), the weather is getting warmer, and our travel bug is getting bigger. March generally marks to start of road trip season for many with Spring Break around the corner. We start off road trip season with a small road trip to Portland to celebrate my 30th birthday. How exciting!

Here's a look ahead at what's in store for Road Trip Blogger in 2014:

We're heading down to Portland for a few days next week to celebrate St Patrick's Day, and my 30th birthday. In April we head down to Las Vegas for some sunshine, gambling and drinking.

June marks the month of our big road trip. The plan thus far is to head to Colorado for some good eats and great outdoor adventures. There are several hikes we'd like to accomplish while in Colorado, then off to Toronto for some big city exploring before making our way to Quebec City. The last time we were in Quebec City was 5 years ago, so it will be nice to head back. After Quebec City we plan to head east to PEI and make our way over to Newfoundland. From there we plan to head south through Washington, DC and down to Florida for a few days of beautiful beaches and sunshine. After a few days resting on the beach, we plan to hit the open road again, stopping into New Orleans for an amazing cultural/food experience before making our way north to the Canadian border. Wish us luck on our travel journeys.
